2010 MSHSL Games of the Week (April 26)
Monday, April 26th Wayzata v Robbinsdale Armstrong
The first of two Lake Conference battles between the Trojans and Falcons. Aside from bragging rights, these games usually determine the # 2 seed in Section 6, come late May.
Tuesday, April 27th Edina v Blake
A preview of the Section 5 final? Odds are yes, but the Hornets need to find a way to slow Bauer and the vaunted Bears attack. On the other hand, can the Hornets capitalize on a new Bears varsity goalie? We'll see.
Wednesday, April 28th Cretin-DH v Roseville
A Surburban East clash between two teams looking for improvement, now and heading into late May. One thing is for sure, the Raiders will win.
Thursday, April 29th Stillwater v Centennial
Can the Ponies begin to exorcise their ghosts of years past? If so, the future looks very bright. If not, Section 4 is up for grabs.
Friday, April 30th Eden Prairie v Loyola Academy
It's not too often two current state champions play each other, but this is what we have, Minnesota v Illinois. EP and Loyola are the prototypical lacrosse programs, everyone wants to emulate. Well coached, smart players, excellent tradition. Need I say more?
Saturday, May 1st Blake v Robbinsdale Armstrong
A heavyweight battle between two of Minnesota's premier teams. Each team has a question in goal, but not on offense. Offensive talent oozes on both sides and I feel the scoreboard will get a workout. Perhaps the team that has the ball last wins?

An outstanding non-conference game with Section 5 seeding implications. The senior-laden Orioles battle an impressiveand expereinced group of Hornets.

The first 2010 Battle of Rochester commences as the second year programs strive for continued development and experience.

The defending State Champion Eagles host their twice-past Section 6 final foe, the Falcons, in another early season heavyweight matchup. The Eagles return several battle-tested players, ready to make another 2010 title run.

Talk about an opening week with classic matchups. Here's a Section 4 tilt with post-season ramifications, as the Zephyrs look to defend their section title vs. a focused group of Ponies.
Saturday, April 17th Eastview v Lakeville Co-Op
A south metro battle of an up and coming Lightning squad, coached by an EP alumnus and gaining respect, fast, vs. a Lakeville squad looking to make State in the last year as a co-op team.
